In this function you will be responsible for legal activities on an international level. You will focus on data protection topics but also supporting the daily business.

Your daily tasks:

  • Collaborating with a variety of different departments, assisting them on various legal matters such as risk assessment, contracting, drafting and negotiating a range of international agreements (License Agreements, Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements etc.) and policy drafting
  • Monitoring the company's internal data protection system, progressing the development, implementation and rolling-out GDPR concepts. You will help raise data protection awareness within the company group and act as the contact person for the respective departments
  • Accompany and advise the entire company group on all levels on a variety of legal issues, especially data protection matters
  • You will gain profound legal experience in and commercial understanding of the pharmaceutical industry as well as experience on medicinal drugs, medical devices, compliance, intellectual property law etc.
  • Identifying and minimizing company risks by means of analyses and evaluations
  • Working closely together with external counsels from different countries and supporting your colleagues on international matters
  • You will work independently as well as within international and cross-functional teams

Your convincing profile:

  • A law degree (Master’s level) from a reputable university
  • Work experience from a law firm and/or as in-house lawyer (minimum 3 years)
  • GDPR and commercial contract law
  • Ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements fluently in German and English
  • Strong sense of responsibility, profound analytical skills as well as pronounced presentation and communication skills
  • Solution-oriented, open-minded and team oriented-personality
