Chief Financial Officer / Leiter der Finanzabteilung (M/F/D) Vienna



The position-holder, member of the local management team, is responsible for the following tasks:
  • P&L and business reporting, monthly reporting and follow-up of KPIs, in charge of budget & long-term plan process
  • Creation of the accounting and financial documents (in local GAAP and in IFRS), as well as of tax declarations; main contact for statutory auditors & tax advisers
  • Responsible for internal and external audits as well as compliance regulations
  • Management of the finance department (6 members)
  • Organization, implementation and follow-up of the credit risk policy, monitoring of customer credit management
  • Pricing management in accordance with Sales
  • Supervision and control of treasury flows: relations with banks, evaluation and implementation of financing needs, treasury flow optimization, Forex risk hedging, implementation of digital safe tools for payment and validation of payments
  • Definition and implementation of insurance policies
  • In the role of IT manager, main contact of the affiliate for any issue related to IT management: current services, transverse projects, relation with IT central team and management of the local proximity support
Candidates should bring in following key competences and experience:
  • University degree with financial focus
  • 5 – 7 years work experience in a finance department with focus on Austrian and/or Swiss environment
  • Organized and able to work under pressure, agile with MS Excel and other IT tools
  • Team management experience in an international environment & strong ability to motivate a team
  • Fluency in German and English, French preferred
