Software Engineer Quantum Cryptography (m/f/d) C/C++ & Phyton



Your new position

  • Working in a vibrant and agile team and creating high quality software for devices that operate on satellites or in data centers
  • Transforming research results from quantum cryptography into products
  • Developing new network solutions and refining existing software in C/C++ and Python on Linux server machines with your team
  • Interacting and communicating with partners in national and international research projects
  • Developing concepts, specifications and procedures to achieve the defined project goals

Your profile

  • Degree in computer science (FH / University), preferably in the area of software engineering or equivalent higher technical education (HTL) with experience
  • Experience in professional software engineering in C/C++
  • Knowledge of Python and Linux
  • Knowledge in cyber security and/or network engineering
  • Experience with SDN, Rust, docker, DevOps, CI/CD is a plus
  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for creating sustainable technical solutions and implementing them in practice
  • High commitment and ability to work in multidisciplinary and diverse teams
  • Affinity to abstract, mathematical thinking and physics
  • Proficient English (spoken and written); German is a plus
