IHRE AUFGABEN
- Sie führen systematische Hardwaretests an PC-Komponenten und Peripheriegeräten durch und stellen deren Funktionalität in integrierten Systemen sicher

IHRE AUFGABEN
- Sie stellen die Qualität unseres Produkt-Portfolios in den Bereichen Internet, Terminals und Server sicher
- Sie ermitteln, erstellen und führen systematisch Testfälle unter Anwendung geeigneter Testmethoden und –werkzeugen durch und sind für die Firmware Tests intern entwickelter Hardware Systeme verantwortlich
- Sie evaluieren Testergebnisse sowie erstellen regelmäßige Reportings über den Teststatus und sind für die Integration-Tests externer Software & Hardware Systeme zuständig
- Sie analysieren, reproduzieren, dokumentieren und tracken Fehler und unterstützen den 2nd Level Support in der Fehleranalyse
- Sie analysieren Anforderungsdokumente und führen Schulungen durch

Tasks:
- Contribute to the strategic development of the dataTUdiscovery service center in a leading role, including interfaculty cooperation, innovation in AI methodologies, and integration with TU Wien’s digital research ecosystem
- Collaborate with domain researchers based on incoming dataTUdiscovery service center projects to transform scientific problems into robust computational workflows, including data preprocessing, model selection, and validation
- Develop reusable AI models, workflows, and software components, contributing to TU Wien’s open research infrastructure (e.g. TU Wien Cookbooks)
- Ensure reproducibility, versioning, documentation, and deployment of AI/ML tools using best-practice software engineering, e.g., Continuous Integration and Delivery, containerization, model lifecycle management
- Co-author publications of research results in peer-reviewed journals and potentially present outcomes at international venues to enhance TU Wien’s visibility in Research and AI

Tasks:
- Creation and curation of print and digital materials such as flyers, website content, and social media posts
- Assistance with the development and implementation of an IWEC newsletter for members of the international community at TU Wien
- Promote IWEC at university-wide events
- Liaise regularly with representatives of the HTU, Fachschaften, departments, and other central units at TU Wien to increase the visibility and impact of the department

Tasks:
- Contribute to the strategic development of the dataTUdiscovery service center in a leading role, including interfaculty cooperation, innovation in AI methodologies, and integration with TU Wien’s digital research ecosystem
- Collaborate with domain researchers based on incoming dataTUdiscovery service center projects across faculties to translate scientific questions into AI-based approaches and co-develop research solutions
- Analyze and interpret scientific data and domain-specific requirements from chemistry, physics, materials science, and/or mathematics to design appropriate AI/ML models and guide methodological choices
- Develop reusable and reproducible AI models, workflows, and software components, contributing to TU Wien’s open research infrastructure (e.g. TU Wien Cookbooks)
- Co-author publications of research results in peer-reviewed journals and potentially present outcomes at international venues to enhance TU Wien’s visibility in Research and AI

- You oversee and coordinate the full administrative lifecycle of PhD students, from admission to graduation.
- You handle incoming administrative queries from students and supervisors and provide timely support.
- You support teaching and exam administration
- You update and manage data documentation
- You contribute to updating the department website and information materials
- You work closely with the second administrative support member to ensure smooth workflows
- You maintain close communication with campus partners, university offices, HR, and other administrative units
- Additional responsibilities can be added depending on your interests and skill set

As a PhD student, you will, become a core member of the STRENGTH platform and the Environmental Psychology Group at the University of Vienna. This currently includes one full professor, one tenure-track professor, three postdoctoral researchers, six PhD students, an organisational assistant and four student / research assistants.
