- Sie führen manuelle Tests an unseren Spielen für funktionale und nicht-funktionale Anforderungen durch
- Sie unterstützen bei der systematischen Ermittlung, Erstellung und Durchführung von Testfällen und übernehmen eine aktive Rolle bei der Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung bestehender Testprozesse und -strategien
- Sie evaluieren Testergebnisse und erstellen Reports über den Teststatus
- Sie analysieren und dokumentieren Fehler in der Testumgebung
- Sie arbeiten in einem agilen Entwicklungs- und Projektteam mit, unterstützen Junior-Tester in einer Mentor Rolle und geben Ihr Wissen gezielt weiter

- Team- & Ressourcen-Management: Sie führen das Team fachlich sowie disziplinarisch und planen Ressourcen, Budgets sowie Investitionen.
- Infrastruktur- & Service-Verantwortung: Sie entscheiden über Anpassungen, Wartungen und Umstellungen der Systemkomponenten und sichern den stabilen Betrieb aller Services.
- Strategie & Projekte: In enger Abstimmung mit der Abteilungsleitung entwickeln Sie Strategiekonzepte und steuern bzw. unterstützen relevante IT-Projekte.
- Schnittstellenkompetenz: Sie arbeiten eng mit den Teams aus IT-Security, Software Development und Qualitätssicherung zusammen. Zudem setzen wir auf Ihre Vernetzung mit der Community, sei es in Richtung ACOnet als auch die anderen TLD-Betreiber via RIPE oder DNS-OARC.

Your Tasks
- Preparation and linguistic enrichment of the WBÖ corpus data (including lemmatization, PoS annotation) in collaboration with the technical development team
- Conducting dialectometric and geostatistical analyses (including cluster analysis, multidimensional scaling, factor analysis, interpolation/kriging)
- Comparative investigation of phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon with regard to their geographic structuring
- Data quality assurance and critical evaluation of the methods used
- Publishing research results in academic journals and presenting at workshops and conferences
- Collaborating within the ACDH’s Linguistics research department as well as with international project partners
- Writing a dissertation within the framework of the project

You develop and implement high-quality online slot games using C# within our internal framework, writing clean, maintainable and well-structured code -
You act as a mentor, providing day-to-day technical guidance for the development team, motivating and supporting engineers, and fostering a positive and resilient team environment, especially when priorities or requirements evolve -
You analyse, refine and document technical and functional requirements, collaborating closely with Game Design, Technical Artists, QA and international development partners -
You coordinate technical implementations, monitor and contribute to development progress, identify technical risks, drive continuous improvements, and support the onboarding and mentoring of software engineers -
You act as the primary technical contact for our external development partner (Greentube) and ensure effective technical coordination across all stakeholders

- Sie stellen die Qualität unseres Produkt-Portfolios in den Bereichen Internet, Terminals und Server sicher
- Sie ermitteln, erstellen und führen systematisch Testfälle unter Anwendung geeigneter Testmethoden und –werkzeugen durch und sind für die Firmware Tests intern entwickelter Hardware Systeme verantwortlich
- Sie evaluieren Testergebnisse sowie erstellen regelmäßige Reportings über den Teststatus und sind für die Integration-Tests externer Software & Hardware Systeme zuständig
- Sie analysieren, reproduzieren, dokumentieren und tracken Fehler und unterstützen den 2nd Level Support in der Fehleranalyse

- Assistance with organising events and publishing co-edited volumes

- Conduct independent and collaborative research within the “Gender and ‘Race’” work package
- Analyse Arabic-language texts, media, and other relevant source materials
- Carry out digital and remote ethnographic research, including with Yemeni diaspora communities
- Contribute to the development of the project’s theoretical framework and collective research outputs
- Produce research publications for leading international journals and book chapters for IDEO-YEMEN
- Present research findings at international conferences and scholarly workshops
- Support project-related events and organisational activities
- Produce research dissemination materials for the project’s website and social media.
- Actively participate in ISA’s academic environment, including team meetings and internal workshops
