- Finalize your dissertation agreement within the first 12 months.
- Complete and submit your doctoral thesis within 4 years in either cumulative (collection of articles) or monographic form.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research within the project’s “Media Expressions and Rituals of Ideology” work package.
- Contribute to the project’s theoretical development, collective research output, and activities.
- Produce research publications for leading international and/or peer reviewed journals and book chapters for IDEO-YEMEN.
- Present research at international conferences and workshops.
- Produce research dissemination materials for the project’s website and social media.
- Actively participate in ISA’s academic environment, including team meetings and workshops.

Deine Aufgaben
- Project Implementation & Management: Lead and execute a portfolio of social innovation projects from initiation to completion across Europe. Ensure deliverables are high-quality, on time, and within scope.
- The 4-Stage Innovation Lifecycle: Systematically apply ignato’s core adoption methodology: conducting in-depth needs assessments, scouting for innovative solutions, providing active implementation support, and planning for scaling.
- Program Design: Contribute to the design, setup, and management of social impact incubators, accelerators, or co-creation programs that empower social innovators and scale impactful solutions across the European network.
- Stakeholder & Network Coordination: Manage complex, multi-stakeholder and multicultural project settings. Act as the primary bridge between social entrepreneurs, corporate and philanthropic partners, and large NGO service providers (such as Caritas).
- MEL & Impact Tracking: Implement Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks, and continuously improve our transfer methodology.
- Presentation, Moderation & Knowledge Sharing: Host workshops and present in front of diverse stakeholders, fostering knowledge exchange across the network.

Your Responsibilities
- Development, prototyping and further development of AI services and AI-supported applications for scientific institutes and the central administration of the ÖAW
- Analysis of functional requirements and translation into conceptual and technical solution approaches
- Evaluation, testing and selection of suitable AI technologies, tools and platforms, taking into account data protection, IT security and Responsible AI principles
- Support for project management in planning, coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, as well as in tenders and collaboration with external partners
- Communication with internal users, collection and structuring of requirements and feedback, as well as participation in strategic AI initiatives, particularly in the context of AI Factory Austria

Postdoc (f/m/x) - Working on AI Applications for Rare Event Searches with Cryogenic Detectors
- PhD in Particle Physics, Astroparticle Physics, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
- Experience with cryogenic detectors or low-temperature experimental systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and advanced data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of scientific publications.
