What you will enjoy doing
- Gather and analyze market requirements for plastic beverage closures
- Define product scope and create detailed product specifications
- Develop innovative closure designs in close collaboration with our product design team

YOUR TASKS

- You will manage end‑to‑end customer interactions in selected global markets, serving as the primary contact
- You will think “out of the box” on how to generate value and drive sales, both directly, or through our global & regional partners
- You will be achieving sales budget / quota and strategic account targets and develop accurate forecasts in fast‑moving market environments
- You will build, maintain, and evaluate partner relationships with distributors and agents, ensuring effective execution of pertinent agreements
- You will create and update relevant market overviews, staying informed on legal, regulatory, and marketing developments
- You will oversee the full sales process, from gathering customer requirements and product configuration to collaboration with sales engineering and technical teams
- You will work within the Direct Sales team on projects such as offers, process improvements or marketing activities providing your first hand customer knowledge and market experience

Your Tasks

The Position:
- To coordinate and optimize ERP, fundraising, accounting and related systems as super-user, including data integration across donor, payment and expert systems
- To oversee end-to-end donor and sponsor processes (onboarding, mid- and back-office) and to manage the digital payment architecture for donations
- To serve as key operational contact for sponsors and donors, ensuring accurate records, high service standards and long-term relationship support
- To administer and further develop the University of Vienna’s foundations in cooperation with legal advisors, auditors, accountants, banks and supervisory authorities
- To support grantmaking applications and processes from an operational perspective, including follow-up on related requirements
- To ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal governance standards and data protection requirements (GDPR/DSGVO)
- To contribute to special projects, meet agreed deadlines and targets, and provide operational support within the team as required

Your personal sphere of play:
- Editorial management of the department’s international scholarly publications — on the one hand, the journal “Tyche. Beiträge zur Alten Geschichte, Papyrologie und Epigraphik,” published both in print and Open Access (annual volumes as well as supplement and special volumes), and on the other hand, the electronic Open Access series “Wiener Beiträge zur Alten Geschichte online (WBAGon)”
- Oversee the research area “Austria Romana Austriaca” (Roman Austria), to which you will contribute through your own research and publications; you will also participate in research projects in this and adjacent fields. International lecturing is expected.
- Maintain the department’s archive of finds of ancient inscriptions in Austria (Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum; archive of the Epigraphic Database Heidelberg). This also includes preparing the “Annona Epigraphica” (annual report on inscription finds in Austria) and processing Austria’s inscription finds for the international Année épigraphique (AE), the annual report of newly discovered and published Latin inscriptions from antiquity.
