About this position:
- Involvement in and finalizing of a research project as detailed in your doctoral thesis agreement

- Meeting and consulting with your supervisor(s) on a regular basis in order to prioritize your tasks and get the necessary support to complete your dissertation successfully in time.

- We expect you to make significant progress on your doctoral thesis through related milestones during the time of the short-term contract.

Your Tasks
- manage and contribute to the development and delivery of training resources on a range of topics in collaboration with experts from within and beyond the institute,
- define and manage editorial and publication workflows to ensure the efficient creation and long-term availability of the training resources,
- provide editorial support for content, communicate with contributors and reviewers, and proofread content,
- map and actively develop shared activities in the training and education field in coordination with project partners, as well as other relevant institutions or related partner initiatives, especially the European research infrastructures CLARIN and DARIAH,
- assist the planning and delivery of training events, including support the streaming and video production,
- coordinate the institute’s internship programme,participate in dissemination activities at conferences, workshops etc.

- Prepare a highly original and internationally competitive PhD thesis in your designated field.
- Publish in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and present your research at international conferences.
- Design and teach university courses and supervise students according to the requirements specified in the collective agreement for predoctoral researchers.
- Complete the public presentation of your PhD thesis within one year of your contract starting date.

Zur ausgeschriebenen Stelle:
- Wir erwarten, dass Sie Ihre Dissertationsvereinbarung binnen 12-18 Monaten abschließen.
- Sie arbeiten an Ihrer Dissertation und deren Fertigstellung.
- Sie halten eigenständig Lehrveranstaltungen im Ausmaß der kollektivvertraglichen Bestimmungen.
- Sie übernehmen administrative Tätigkeiten in Forschung & Lehre.

Ihr persönlicher Wirkungsraum:
- Unterstützung des Lehrstuhls für Neuere Kunstgeschichte (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Schütze) in Lehre und Forschung.
- Mitarbeit am Vienna Center for the History of Collecting.
- Beteiligung an der Institutsverwaltung und selbständige Lehre im Ausmaß von 4 SWS.
- Erwartet wird die Vorbereitung einer Habilitation im Bereich der italienischen Kunstgeschichte des 16.-18. Jahrhunderts.
