- Rat und Unterstützung für Forschende im Bereich FDM und Open Science, wie beispielsweise sie beim Schreiben von Data-Management-Plänen, beim Organisieren ihrer Daten und beim Vorbereiten ihrer Daten für die Veröffentlichung in Repositorien zu unterstützen
- Erstellung und Entwicklung innovativer disziplinspezifischer Services im Bereich FDM
- Awareness-Building für nachhaltiges FDM
- Entwicklung von Prozessen, Policies und Standards für FDM

Your workplace:
- You will teach courses independently for an average of 8 SWS per semester. A willingness to increase the level of employment if required and if budgetary resources allow would be welcome.
- You will teach in the areas of quantitative methods and the Austrian political system.
- You will also be involved in BA thesis seminars as well as substantive and research-oriented seminars at the MA level (e.g., proposal seminars).
- You will take on administrative tasks, particularly in the administration of teaching.

The Institute for Austrian Historical Research has a long-standing tradition in the training of archivists. As part of the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies, which brings together all historical disciplines at the University of Vienna, it is an internationally recognized research and training center for historical methodology and auxiliary sciences (paleography, diplomatics, records management, source studies, etc.) as well as archival studies. As a university assistant (praedoc) on this 4-year position you will be part of the “Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Physics” group, led by Prof. Norbert Schuch. Our research lies at the interface of Quantum Information and Computation with the study of Complex Quantum Many-Body Systems. For this, we apply a combination of methods from both Physics and Mathematics, complemented by concepts from Theoretical Computer Science.
Our research group is located jointly at the Faculty of Physics – as part of the Quantum Optics, Quantum Nanophysics, and Quantum Information Group – and at the Faculty of Mathematics. Furthermore, we are a member of the Vienna Center for Quantum Science and Technology (VCQ), one of the largest quantum hubs in Europe, and of the Austrian Cluster of Excellence quantA, which aims at advancing basic research in quantum sciences, expanding the frontiers of knowledge, and thus driving future innovations.
As a doctoral candidate, you will also benefit from becoming a member of either the Vienna Doctoral School in Physics (VDSP) or the Vienna School of Mathematics (VSM).
