1 Sales Support Management Job in Wien
The Position:
- To operate the philanthropy process, balancing the donor’s and the University of Vienna’s needs and actions
- To make direct requests for financial support from donors, both individually and through appeals
- To be a key point of contact for sponsors and donors, as well as cultivating these relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, and retaining their support
- To effectively and efficiently record interactions and developments with prospects and donors, as well as operate the integration of donor, payment and other data in various ERP and expert systems
- To assist with the coordination of visits including scheduling appointments with other university departments, preparing briefings, booking equipment, facilities and refreshments as required
- To write and manage grant applications/processes in matching the funding priorities and values of the grantmaking organization, as well as following up on all requests and needs of the pre-screening process and expanding the ensuing relationships
- To be in charge of planning and implementing philanthropic events in close collaboration with the University of Vienna’s Conference and Event Management unit, including the oversight of marketing, ticket sales, and the enlisting of volunteers
- To support the creation of reports or other formal documentation for university committees and senior staff
- To respond promptly to requests for documentation and information from the Rector’s Office and other senior university staff
- To be a champion of donor stewardship
- To maintain confidentiality regarding supporter information at all times and ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)
- To work to agreed deadlines and targets, as agreed, and assist with special projects and tasks within the scope of the role, as required
- To undertake any other duties required which are within the scope and grade of the post, including providing cover and support for other colleagues at busy times and in cases of absence
- To ensure compliance with relevant university policies and procedures
- To undertake any training and development deemed appropriate for the position.
