Your personal sphere of play:
- You build up an independent research profile and are involved in research projects in the fields of economic geography, geography of innovation and sustainability transitions, and similar.
- You publish internationally and give lectures.
- You apply for projects and raise third-party funds.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
- You supervise students.
- You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
- You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

Your workplace:
- You hold courses independently in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. That means an average of 14 semester hours per week for full-time employment.
- You will take on administrative tasks, especially in the administration of teaching.
- The ongoing reception of the current state of science as well as further didactic training during the lecture-free time are expected.
