YOUR TASKS

- You will manage end‑to‑end customer interactions in selected global markets, serving as the primary contact
- You will think “out of the box” on how to generate value and drive sales, both directly, or through our global & regional partners
- You will be achieving sales budget / quota and strategic account targets and develop accurate forecasts in fast‑moving market environments
- You will build, maintain, and evaluate partner relationships with distributors and agents, ensuring effective execution of pertinent agreements
- You will create and update relevant market overviews, staying informed on legal, regulatory, and marketing developments
- You will oversee the full sales process, from gathering customer requirements and product configuration to collaboration with sales engineering and technical teams
- You will work within the Direct Sales team on projects such as offers, process improvements or marketing activities providing your first hand customer knowledge and market experience

Your personal sphere of play:
- You will lead the “Exposome Austria Non-targeted Lab”.
- You will further develop the analytical services of the Exposome Austria Research Infrastructure.
- You will execute administrative tasks in lab and infrastructure management, research, and teaching.
- You will build an independent research profile in exposome research and in the field of metabolomics.
- You will contribute to research projects and scientific studies.
- You will publish internationally and give presentations.
- You will apply for projects and acquire third-party funding.
- You will prepare and complete a habilitation suitable for publication.
- You will independently teach courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.
- You will supervise students throughout their academic progress.
- You will participate in evaluation measures and quality assurance.

Your personal sphere of influence:

Completed Master’s or Diploma degree in Biology or a related field; specialization in neurobiology is an advantage. • Strong experience in scientific writing as well as in experimental and computational research methods, in particular: – experimental work with C. elegans
– experience with modern microscopy techniques (e.g., spinning-disk confocal microscopy, light-sheet microscopy)
– analysis of large imaging datasets using advanced image processing and segmentation methods
– computational and statistical analysis of large-scale neuronal activity datasets • Very good programming skills in Python (mandatory). • Teaching experience and an interest in contributing to academic instruction. • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. • Strong team orientation and well-developed social and communication skills.
