- Oversee the daily operations of the mass spectrometry core facility, including responsibility for personnnel and budget.
- Maintain and develop relations with users and customers.
- Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot high-end mass spectrometers (e.g., LC-MS, GC-MS, MALDI_TOF and ICP-MS).
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for chemical, biochemical, and environmental applications.
- Provide training, consultation and technical support to researchers, students and faculty members.
- Manage budgets, facility usage and service (curate the web-based research facility management software)
- Generate customized reports.
- Stay updated on the latest mass spectrometry advancements and implement best practices.
- You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

- Completed master's/diploma/teaching degree in Romance Philology or Comparative literature with a focus on Spanish and/or French-language literature and media.
- A profound knowledge of Spanish and/or French is essential.
