- Advice and support to researchers in the area of RDM and Open Science, such as assisting them in writing data management plans, organizing their data, and preparing their data for publication in repositories
- Design and development of innovative discipline-specific services in the area of RDM
- Building awareness for sustainable RDM
- Development of workflows, policies and standards for RDM
- Design and delivery of needs-based training on RDM and Open Science
- Conducting needs assessments among the FGGA faculty

- Establishment of a sustainable spatial data infrastructure (SDI) for the long-term (re)use and archiving of research results across campus
- Provision of customized geo-tools analytical and communication (e.g., mapping) services across disciplines
- Optimization of geo-communication through innovative analysis and visualization approaches
- Create synergies through centralized development and provision of geo-data solutions
- Consulting and (semi-automatic) quality control to ensure geo-data products such as Web maps and future generative GeoAI results released at the University of Vienna meet geocommunication requirements and international geo-data standards (e.g., OGC and W3C)
- Integration of the GHD into a future center for long-term anchoring, promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation, and strategic development in the area of (spatial) data science

Tasks:
- Design, implement, supervise, and conduct scientific investigation of multimodal human-robot interaction in interdisciplinary contexts

Tasks:
- Develop advanced spatially-resolved characterisation methods based on X-ray diffraction tomography and/or hyperspectral X-ray imaging
- Participate in measurement campaigns internationally at synchrotron light sources and other large-scale research facilities

The Institute for Austrian Historical Research has a long-standing tradition in the training of archivists. As part of the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies, which brings together all historical disciplines at the University of Vienna, it is an internationally recognized research and training center for historical methodology and auxiliary sciences (paleography, diplomatics, records management, source studies, etc.) as well as archival studies.
