- Theoretical research in the field of macroscopic quantum physics, in particular the study of noise and decoherence effects in levitated quantum optomechanical systems, as well as the design and theoretical analysis of new experimental methods and protocols to generate non-Gaussian quantum states of motion of levitated solids.
- Supporting the experimental members of the team with analytical and numerical tools for parameter estimations and noise analysis.
