The Faculty of Psychology at the University of Vienna comprises the Dean's Office, a Student Service Center (SSC), four departments, and the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Practice.
We are looking to fill a Senior Scientist position as Head of the Outpatient Unit for Research Teaching and Practice (FLPA) at the Faculty of Psychology.
The FLPA combines research, teaching, and practical application in the areas of psychological diagnostics as well as clinical-psychological and health-psychological prevention and intervention across the lifespan. The successful candidate will share responsibility for expanding the FLPA's activities in psychotherapeutic fields (in accordance with current legal provisions and regulations).

Your future tasks:
As Head of the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Practice, you will take on the following tasks:
• Organizing and managing the day-to-day operations of the outpatient unit
• Participation in the expansion of psychotherapeutic services offered by the outpatient unit and in negotiations with health insurance companies
• Providing professional supervision and support for existing areas/services of the FLPA (e.g., testing and counseling center)
• Involvement in the planning of specialized training and continuing education programs
• If applicable, own psychotherapeutic services in the outpatient clinic in connection with practice-oriented teaching in the field of psychotherapy
• Optionally: conducting your own research
This is part of your personality:
• Degree in Psychology
• Doctorate/PhD
• Training as a psychotherapist in an evidence-based method (preferably in behavioral therapy)
• Experience in psychotherapeutic practice
• Experience in a management position, preferably in a psychotherapeutic practice, outpatient clinic/unit or a similar institution
The following qualifications are also desirable:
• Research experience
• Psychotherapeutic supervision
• Willingness to engage in teaching in the field of psychotherapy (especially practice-oriented teaching)
