Tasks:
- Independent research and project work in the field of microwave satellite-based soil moisture monitoring, error characteristion and model-data integration
- Independent teaching of courses and supervision of students
- Development of scientific methods, concepts, as well as their realization and evaluation
- Writing project proposals to apply for funding from national and international agencies (e.g. ESA, FWF, FFG, and the European Commission) and coordinating and managing these projects
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures of the research division, department, and faculty
