- Du entwickelst und betreibst Platform as a Service (PaaS) Umgebungen sowie Cloud-basierte Anwendungen in Microservice Architekturen.

Deine Aufgaben
- Du bist verantwortlich für die Betreuung der entwickelten Anwendungen in der Cloud über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus (inklusive Pflege und Wartung) sowie für Effizienzoptimierungen

Your Tasks
- Focus on developing an exploratory landscape evolution model (LEM) and on collectively investigating (with the CHLS team) how climate change and human activities shape the landscape.
- Integrate mountain hazard processes (e.g. landslides, debris flow) into a LEM.
- Design your own research in the context of LEM in line withthe objectives of the CHLS research groupand publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the CHLS team to enhance the conceptual model for the analysis of coupled human-landscape systems in mountain areas (Hossain et al. 2020). This includes the identification of crucial couplings and interactions within the biophysical dimension on different spatial and temporal scales.
- Contribute to a numerical prototype of a coupled human-landscape model, grounded in our conceptual framework and case-study sites. Socio-economic dynamics are covered by another postdoc focusing on agent-based modeling.
- Seek out and contribute to proposal writing efforts to secure third-party funding for further research within the group.

- As a Senior Lecturer, you will be involved in teaching at Bachelor's and Master's level in the area of Chemistry.
- The core tasks include both collaboration in laboratory practicals in the Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry and the independent implementation of digital practicals dedicated to the digital processing of large data sets. The focus here is on guiding students in the evaluation of experimental data and the use of digital methods in a chemical context.

Your workplace:
As a Senior Lecturer, you will be employed in the field of computer-aided and digital teaching in chemistry. The focus of your work will be on the organisation, further development and teaching of courses in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Chemistry that deal with computer-aided analysis and digital processing of chemical data sets as well as automation in the laboratory. In addition, you will introduce simple digital solutions in laboratory teaching in the Bachelor's programme in Chemistry using digital tools such as Jupyter notebooks to support an interactive, self-directed learning process.
The employment level of 40 hours/week includes an average teaching obligation of 24 semester hours per week of instructive teaching per semester.
