About the team:
- You develop an independent research profile in computational materials discovery and machine-learning-accelerated materials simulation.
- You lead and guide the development of novel computational materials discovery and molecular simulation methods.
- You take a key role in the research and management of the Computational Materials Discovery group.
- You supervise and guide students at the bachelor, master and PhD level.
- You contribute to the teaching activities in the Faculty of Physics according to the collective bargaining agreement.
- You publish internationally and give presentations.
- You contribute to applications for projects and in raising third-party funds.
- You develop new ideas, new computational and theoretical approaches, and novel applications.
- You are involved in organizing meetings, conferences, and symposia.
- You take on administrative tasks in research and faculty.
- You participate in research projects and studies.

About the team:
- You are involved in a curiosity-driven research project in the field of electronic structure theory and ultrafast quantum dynamics
- You will present your research plan to the faculty and complete a dissertation agreement within 12-18 months. This will be reviewed and adapted on an annual basis.
- You will work on your dissertation and towards its completion in time. We expect a large degree of independence paired with a high level of social awareness as the goal will only be achieved in a team.
- You will contribute to teaching (exercise classes) within the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
- You will fill some administrative tasks, contributing to the success and self-organization of the group for research, teaching and administration.
- You will continuously stay informed about the state of the art in your field.
- You contribute to outreach by publications, conference presentations and public activities.
