About this position:
- Involvement in and finalizing of a research project as detailed in your doctoral thesis agreement
- Publications and presentations
- Involvement in project applications for third-party funding
- Teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Supervision of trainees and students
- Meeting and consulting with your supervisor(s) on a regular basis in order to prioritize your tasks and get the necessary support to complete your dissertation successfully in time.
- Actively seeking support (workshops, training, coaching etc.) if necessary
- We expect you to make significant progress on your doctoral thesis through related milestones during the time of the short-term contract.

- Sie sind an Projekten und wissenschaftlichen Studien in den Forschungsbereichen der „EvoMorRG“ beteiligt.
- Wir erwarten, dass Sie Ihre Dissertationsvereinbarung innerhalb von 12 bis 18 Monaten abschließen.
- Sie arbeiten an Ihrer kumulativen Dissertation und deren Fertigstellung innerhalb von drei Jahren.
- Sie unterstützen die Organisation und Instandhaltung des Labors, insbesondere unserer Aquarieninfrastruktur, in der wir verschiedene Knorpel- und Knochenfische halten.
- Sie halten eigenständig Lehrveranstaltungen im Rahmen der Bestimmungen des Tarifvertrags.
- Sie übernehmen administrative Aufgaben in Forschung und Lehre.
- Sie sind bereit, sich in der internationalen und (je nach Projekt) interdisziplinären oder angewandten Forschung zu engagieren.
- Sie sind bereit, an nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen teilzunehmen, um Ihre Forschungsergebnisse vorzustellen, sowie an Workshops, um zusätzliche soziale und berufliche Kompetenzen zu erwerben.

Your professional field of activity:
- You are involved in projects and scientific studies in the research areas of the 'EvoMorRG'.
- We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
- You work on your cumulative dissertation and its completion within three years.
- You are assisting in laboratory organization and maintenance, especially of our aquarium infrastructure, where we keep various cartilaginous and bony fishes.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
- You take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.
- You are willing to engage in international and (depending on the project) interdisciplinary or applied research.
- You are willing to attend national and international conferences to present your research results, and workshops to gain additional scoial and professional skills.
