Ihre Aufgaben:
- Aufbereitung von Daten für Berichte, Sicherstellung der Datenqualität und -konsistenz sowie Erfüllung der Performanceanforderungen für unsere Fachbereiche
- Hands-on Programmierung von Datenpipelines, Transformationen und Auswertungen
- Entwicklung, Weiterentwicklung und Betrieb von Reporting-Services auf Basis von beispielsweise Databricks
- Strategiearbeit zur Weiterentwicklung des Services „Zentrale Datenhaltung“ im Rahmen des ASFINAG Verkehrssteuerungs- und Informationssystems VMIS2.0
- Durchführung von Report-Tests (fachlich und technisch)
- Analyse und Behebung von Fehlern in Reporting-Prozessen
- Umsetzung kleinerer Change Requests und Anpassungen bestehender Reports
- Dokumentation der entwickelten Lösungen und Prozesse
- Kontaktpflege mit internen und externen Stakeholdern, z. B. IT-Dienstleister:innen und der interner IT-Betriebsorganisation
- bei Bedarf Ansteuerung externe:r Auftragnehmer:innen und Bindeglied zwischen internen Nutzer:innen und Auftragnehmer:innen

Your working place:
- You implement software products based on existing design documents for ELT instruments.
- You define, install, and maintain the network infrastructure needed to connect software and hardware during instrument Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT).
- You collaborate with the astronomers and instrument-builders in the MICADO and METIS consortia teams to test, verify, update, and document software and operational use cases.
- You solve technical IT challenges during integration in the AIT construction hall and later at the telescope site.
- You work closely with local scientists to guarantee that the developed software meets or exceeds ESO’s scientific and performance requirements.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
