Your personal sphere of influence:
As a University Assistant Praedoc you will complement the team of Univ. Prof. Dr. Brigitta Zöchling-Jud. You take over tasks e.g. as active participation in teaching as well as in research and publication projects. Our focus is on civil law.
Your future tasks:
You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:
- Participation in research projects
- Participation in publications / scientific articles / lectures
- Participation in and independent teaching of courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement
- Student support
- Participation in the organization of meetings, conferences and symposia
- Participation in administration of the team, teaching, and research
- Completion of your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months is expected. Own scientific activities (especially the writing of a dissertation) are encouraged and supported.
This is part of your personality:
- Completed diploma studies in law or master's degree in law (with specialization in civil law, if applicable).
- Above-average academic performance, especially in civil law andin the subsidiary subjects of private law
- IT skills (e.g. MS Office, various databases)
- Excellent knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
- You are a team player with high social/communicative skills.
- lnterest in scientific work and European legal developments in private law including methodological references is expected.
Nice to have:
- Publications or initial experience in scientific work and research methods
- Familiarity with university procedures and structures
- Experience in the field of event organization
