Betreuung der Softwaretoolboxen der FG NI (Versionskontrolle und Release-Management, Code-Qualität und Wartung, Bugfixing, Testen und Qualitätssicherung, Dokumentationspflege, Support und Schulung) -
An- und Nachbeschaffung von Hardware und Software -
Installation und Betreuung der Hard- und Softwareausstattung, insbesondere PC-Arbeitsplätze, Drucker etc. -
First-Level-Support -
Unterstützung bei der Durchführung experimenteller Studien -
Betreuung des Internetauftritts -

Your Tasks
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC):After your training period, you will take turns with your colleagues to act as the central point of contact (SPOC) for all incoming support requests to ensure efficient coordination and quick problem resolution.
- 1st and 2nd level support:Supporting our employees with IT issues by phone, email, remote desktop, and on-site if necessary.
- Error analysis and troubleshooting:Independently processing and solving hardware and software issues.
- Documentation:Maintaining support tickets and creating solution documentation.
- Installation and configuration:Assisting with the setup and support of IT systems. Carrying out relocations of IT equipment.
- Forwardingcomplex inquiries to 3rd-level support or external partners.
- Commissioning and maintenanceof various client systems (including PCs, notebooks, telephones, and smartphones).
- Creating and updatingoperating system and user manuals.
- Actively initiating improvement measuresin the organizational areas and supporting their implementation.

Am Institut für Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte (WISO) der Historisch-Kulturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät ist ab 1 Mai 2026 die Stelle „IT-Betreuer*in“ zu besetzen.
Das Institut für Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte (WISO) betreibt in integrativer Form Forschung und Lehre in Wirtschafts-,Sozial- und Kulturgeschichte sowie im Verbund mir den anderen historischen Instituten – Geschichtsvermittlung. Es untersucht und lehrt wirtschaftliche, soziale und kulturelle Entwicklungen im globalen, nationalen, regionalen und lokalen Rahmen bis zur Gegenwart. Wir sind ein dynamisches Team und beherbergen zahlreiche von nationalen und internationalen Fördergebern wie FWF, Jubiläumsfonds und EU-Programmen finanzierte Drittmittelprojekte.
Die Stelle ist vorerst für 1 Jahr befristet, eine Übernahme in ein unbefristetes Arbeitsverhältnis ist im beiderseitigen Einverständnis möglich.
