Your workplace:
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. That means an average of 12 semester hours per week.
- You will take on administrative tasks, especially in the administration of teaching.
- We expect from you the ongoing reception of the current state of science as well as the didactic further training during the lecture-free time.

- Mitwirkung bei Publikationen / wissenschaftlichen Artikeln / Vortragstätigkeit
- Abschluss einer Dissertationsvereinbarung binnen 12 Monaten wird erwartet
- Mitwirkung an und selbständige Abhaltung von Lehrveranstaltungen im Ausmaß der kollektivvertraglichen Bestimmungen
- Studierendenbetreuung
- Mitwirkung bei der Organisation von Tagungen, Konferenzen, Symposien
- Mitwirkung in der Instituts-, Lehr- und Forschungsadministration

Your future tasks:
- Supporting the Chair in Cultural and Intellectual history of the Islamic World.
- Developing an independent research profile in the field of Cultural and Intellectual history of the Islamic World.
- International publication and lecturing activities.
- Participation in the FWF Cluster of Excellence ‘EurAsian Transformations’.
- Supporting the acquisition of third-party funding.
- Preparing a habilitation in the field of Cultural and Intellectual history of the Islamic world.
- Preparing and carrying out teaching duties (in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement of the university scientific staff).
- Supervising students.
- Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance.
- Administrative tasks in research and teaching.
