Your scientific profile:
• You must hold a Master's degree, majoring in molecular biology or cell biology
• You must have successfully passed the selection procedure for the Vienna Biocenter PhD Program
• Profound knowledge in meiosis research, with a particular emphasis on metabolism
• Methodological competencies in molecular biology and advanced microscopy
• Practical experience and theoretical knowledge in genome engineering, yeast genetics and cell biology
• You should have some experience in external funding acquisition (research fellowships)
• Basic experience in academic writing

• Basic experience in academic writing and profound knowledge in the integrated stress response (ISR) and unfolded protein response (UPR) signaling pathways, with a particular emphasis on the role of PERK in the response to proteotoxi stress
• Methodological competencies in molecular biology, biochemistry and structural biology
• Practical experience and theoretical knowledge in protein purification, biophysical and biochemical characterization of proteins, and genome engineering
• You should have some experience in external funding acquisition (research fellowships)

- Completed master studies in bioinformatics, biology, pharmacy or related fields.
