- Charakterisierung von Materialeigenschaften sowie des Feuchtetransportverhaltens von historischen Materialien.
- Mitarbeit an der Entwicklung nicht-destruktiver Methoden zur Erfassung natürlicher Degradation unter Einsatz fortgeschrittener analytischer und statistischer Ansätze.
- Entwicklung, Implementierung und Weiterentwicklung von Modellen, die mikroklimatische Prozesse (inkl. Feuchtetransport) mit Degradationskinetik integrieren.
- Mitarbeit an Fallstudien mit internationalen Projektpartner*innen und Gedächtnisinstitutionen, inkl. Forschungsaufenthalten und Reisen innerhalb Europas.
- Dissemination der Forschungsergebnisse durch Fachpublikationen, Teilnahme an internationalen Konferenzen sowie kreative Wissenschaftskommunikation (z. B. Social Media).
- Aktive Mitwirkung am Projektgeschehen, insbesondere durch Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Workshops, Konferenzen und anderen Veranstaltungen.
- Verfassung einer Doktorarbeit; die Promotionsvereinbarung ist innerhalb der ersten 12–18 Monate abzuschließen.

Projektkontext:
- Entwicklung und Validierung multiskaliger hygrothermischer Modelle – von der Physik gebundener Bände bis zu den Dynamiken von Depotumgebungen.
- · Validierung der Simulationen anhand realer Umweltmonitoring-Daten und damit Abgleich von Theorie und Praxis.
- · Mitarbeit an Fallstudien mit internationalen Projektpartner*innen und Gedächtnisinstitutionen, inkl. Forschungsaufenthalten und Reisen innerhalb Europas.
- · Dissemination der Forschungsergebnisse durch Fachpublikationen, Teilnahme an internationalen Konferenzen sowie kreative Wissenschaftskommunikation (z. B. Social Media).

Your Tasks
- Conduct independent and collaborative research within the “Religion and State” work package
- Analyse Arabic-language texts, media, and other relevant source materials
- Carry out digital and remote ethnographic research, including with Yemeni diaspora communities
- Contribute to the project’s theoretical framework and joint research outputs
- Organise a workshop and co-edit the resulting publication(s)
- Present research findings at international conferences and workshops
- Support project-related events and organisational activities
- Actively participate in ISA’s academic environment, including team meetings and internal workshops
