Your personal sphere of influence:
- You actively participate in research, teaching & administration at the Faculty of Physics.
- Your main task is to complete and to submit your dissertation.
- You meet and consult with your supervisor(s) on a regular basis in order to prioritize your tasks and get the necessary support to complete your dissertation successfully in time.
- You actively seek support (workshops, training, coaching etc.) if necessary.
- You contribute to the organizational and administrative tasks of the Faculty of Physics e.g. supervision of students, organization of courses and holding examinations in accordance with the assignment.

The position:
- To assist with the smooth running of the fundraising system and processes, e.g. updating template documents, recording processes, record keeping within the workspace and on the donor database
- To effectively and efficiently record interactions and developments with prospects and donors on the donor database
- To assist with the coordination of visits including scheduling appointments with other university departments, preparing briefings, booking equipment, facilities and refreshments as required
- To support the creation of reports or other formal documentation for university committees and senior staff
- To respond promptly to requests for documentation and information from the Rector’s Office and other senior university staff
- To liaise with colleagues across various university departments to ensure that the Fundraising & Philanthropy team has sufficient fundraising materials available at all times
- To arrange individual, group and departmental meetings
- To assist on donor stewardship at peak reporting periods in the year, to gather and collate information for prompt reporting to donors
- To maintain confidentiality regarding supporter information at all times and ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)
- To work to agreed deadlines and targets, as agreed, and assist with special projects and tasks within the scope of the role, as required
- To undertake any other duties required which are within the scope and grade of the post, including providing cover and support for other colleagues at busy times and in cases of absence
- To ensure compliance with relevant university policies and procedures.

- Participation in and independent teaching of courses to the extent of the provisions of the collective agreement

Your personal sphere of play:
- Candidates must have been awarded a PhD or have submitted their doctoral thesis by the date of the interview (probably early September).
- Strong background in movement analysis with athletes (preferable)
- Experience with musculoskeletal modeling (preferable)
- Teaching experience
- Contacts to athletic sport federations are a plus.
- Proven experience in presenting research at international conferences (international awards are a plus!)
- Hands-on experience with 3D motion capture data and medical image processing
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is desirable but not required
