Tenure-Track Professorship in Financial Accounting



The position

We welcome applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position in the field of Financial Accounting. We seek candidates who investigate how the role of financial reporting and disclosure practices affect the behavior of stakeholders such as investors, analysts, regulators, other market participants, or society. We invite applicants with an analytical, empirical (archival), or experimental methodological focus. Successful candidates are expected to have a strong research background and to publish in the leading international top-journals in accounting. Successful candidates will be involved in teaching financial accounting as part of the faculty’s study programs.

Your academic profile:


We expect the successful candidate to acquire, within three years, proficiency in German sufficient for teaching in bachelor's programmes and for participation in university committees.
