Your personal sphere of influence:

As a University Assistant Praedoc you will be part of the research team of the professorship of Ethics with Special Emphasis on Applied Ethics of Prof. Dr. Angela Kallhoff. The main research areas associated with this professorship are: Systematics and history of ethics, fundamental questions of practical philosophy, political philosophy, ethics of war and peace and applied ethics with a focus on nature and climate ethics.

Your duties will include active participation in research, teaching and administration at the Department of Philosophy in the research area of Practical Philosophy. The main focus of the position is on the completion of a dissertation ready for publication in the range of topics of the research area or research focus.

The employment duration is 3 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
