Your personal sphere of play:

To strengthen our team at the Department of Development Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences, we are seeking to fill a postdoctoral position (50%) in development research with a focus on development sociology. As a university assistant ("postdoc"), you will primarily work in the field of development sociology at our department. Our new colleague will contribute to the further development of the field of Development Studies and participate in our transdisciplinary teaching and research program. Candidates should have a proven track record in both theory and empirical research in the field of development studies. Experience, particularly in qualitative social research, is required, as is practical experience with empirical research in the so-called Global South. We expect theoretical knowledge of 'development' as discourse and practice, as well as experience with feminist and decolonial approaches and theories (f.ex., intersectionality). Possible thematic specializations include global migration and development as well as youth and social movements in the so-called Global South.
