In the Service Unit of Educational Technologies TU Wien is offering a position as Test Engineer (all genders) immediately (Full-time, entry possible from 30 hours per week).

Tasks:

  • Quality assurance of Opencast functionalities, workflows, and new extensions as well as various APIs
  • Analysis, design, and creation of manual and automated test scenarios and tests
  • Manual and automated execution of tests
  • Software testing/quality assurance of new services/products/tools
  • Error analysis and troubleshooting
  • Creation of (user) documentation
  • Participation in internal projects (e.g., event/conference organization) and contribution to the Open Source community

Your profile:

  • Solid technical understanding
  • Knowledge in software quality assurance
  • Skills in creating automated tests
  • Ideally familiar with video management systems
  • Experience with software tools such as GIT, Redmine
  • Professional experience is an advantage
  • Customer and service orientation
