Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar™ (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

Our business

What you will get an insight in

• Assist in managing the daily PR2PO process, aligning with our strategic procurement goals while ensuring efficiency and adherence to compliance standards. 
• Negotiating with suppliers the key parameters of purchase orders – price, payment term, delivery term, delivery schedule, etc. 
• Handling Order Confirmations, sending reminders to suppliers regarding delivery dates.
• Help in facilitating communications and negotiations with suppliers.
• Support the analysis of existing contracts, price developments, and the creation of price catalogues. 
• Assist in presentation and SAP ARIBA Tender preparation. 
• Assist in tracking deadlines and monitoring ARIBA tender schedules.

What we are looking for

• You are currently an enrolled student (preferably in the field of Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business Economics or similar).
• You are fluent in German and in English.
• You are motivated, proactive, and highly self-reliant. 
• You possess strong communication & analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You have advanced skills in MS Office esp. in Excel (SAP/SAP Ariba knowledge is a plus).
