- Supervise an assigned section of the kitchen and ensure it operates in line with the performance standards set by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
- Organize and prepare the designated section as efficiently as possible to enhance workflow, increase speed, and maximize productivity.
- Ensure all dishes and components from the assigned section are prepared consistently and in accordance with established product specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all kitchen sections to support smooth overall operations.
- Ensure that all refrigerators and freezers within the kitchen are kept clean, tidy, and well organized at all times.
- Monitor and maintain proper stock rotation procedures to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
